Tarina’s Story - How One Podcast Episode Changed My Life

tarina.jpgA couple of years ago, Tarina set out on a mission to lose weight. She was struggling with an autoimmune condition, and her father was severely affected by Multiple Sclerosis. Like so many others, Tarina assumed the answer to her struggles lay in medications or conventional treatments. But then, one day, everything changed.

A Life-Changing Discovery

Tarina stumbled upon the Dishing Up Nutrition podcast and decided to give it a listen. One particular episode caught her attention—it was about gluten and its link to autoimmune disease. Tarina recalled one particular statement that stood out, "Try three weeks without gluten or dairy and see how you feel…"

Tarina wondered if it could really be that simple. “I actually couldn’t believe my ears. It sounded so basic but I’d never heard of food being the cure to autoimmune disease.”

A New Path to Healing

Encouraged by what she heard, Tarina booked an appointment with a naturopath. To her surprise, she echoed the same advice—eliminate gluten and dairy while also reducing sugar, alcohol, and other inflammatory foods.

Tarina took the leap and within just two weeks, she started noticing incredible changes: her weight began to drop, her energy skyrocketed and her brain fog, anxiety and depression disappeared.

Autoimmune Symptoms Reversed

“Within two weeks, not only had the weight started dropping but I felt better than I ever had in my whole entire life! Within two months my autoimmune condition was going into remission. Not to mention no more brain fog, anxiety or depression,” she said.
